Guided setup for Sign in with Google, GitHub and Apple

Setting up Google, GitHub or Apple sign-in for an Auth app is now five steps in the console, from the provider console link to a real Try sign-in, and every save tells you straight away whether the provider accepts your credentials. New docs guides for Google and GitHub.

Open an Auth app's Settings and select Set up next to Google, GitHub or Apple. The page walks you through five steps: a link to the right place in the provider's console with what to create there, the exact redirect URI for your app with a Copy button, the scopes we ask for, the credentials form, and Try sign-in. Each step turns green when it is done.

When you save, we check the credentials with the provider and show the answer on the spot: accepted, or rejected with what to fix (for example a secret from a different OAuth client, or an Apple key that cannot sign). The page header shows the provider's real status, Ready, Blocked or Disabled, instead of “Configured”.
